Account Manager - Canada

JOB SUMMARY

The Account Manager is responsible for the management and profitable growth of Ultra Purge business within the Canadian territory. The candidate will be required to meet and exceed both corporate and regional objectives for sales growth, profitability growth, and A/R management within the assigned territory.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute plans to maintain and grow the existing customer base which includes:

  • Secure, maintain and develop customer contact relationships with key decision makers, buying influences and users of products within each assigned account
  • Review and improve profitability on sales to each assigned customer
  • Improve existing customer business practices through the use and management of Ultra Purge products.
  • Respond to and solve customer needs by deploying the necessary company resources
  • Provide custom/technical support to customers
  • Follow up with existing customer base
  • Develop new accounts in designated territory by following up with hot leads and cold calling potential customers
  • Research potential new customers online
  • Provide in house training for customers

Develop and execute plans to improve Ultra Purge market share within the assigned sales territory, including:

  • Identify, qualify and pursue prospective customers.
  • Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations and proposals to prospective customers.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of pricing strategies for new business designed to support market share growth.
  • Qualify and pursue sales leads.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, combination of college, training and experience considered
  • Technical training in plastic processing is considered
