All grades of Ultra Purge are designed to clean hot runners. Since Ultra Purge works on a chemical reaction, there are no particles that can clog the hot runners system. Also, Ultra Purge has chemical and physical characteristics which are very close to thermoplastic resins, thus, in many cases, it can also be molded. We have two different procedures for purging hot runners, with mold open and with mold closed.
